A special thank you to our current volunteer board members, who continually assist and guide our organization.

Blueprints for Leaning is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes through the delivery of its specific programs. More specifically to provide quality childcare which supports the growth and development of young children, the staff who work with children, and parents (Community Building Children’s Center); to educate, inform and advocate for quality childcare to the broader community of citizens, parents, business leaders and other childcare providers (Child Care Training Institute). We are a 501c3 organization and our Federal EIN is 91-2160074.

The Board is responsible for overall policy and direction of the association, and delegates responsibility of day-to-day operations to the Executive Director, staff, and committees.  All board members are volunteers and serve terms of two years.

The Board shall be responsible for the selection, evaluation, and termination of the Executive Director.  It is also expected that members shall make a meaningful contribution of time and resources.  This includes participation and attendance in special events and fundraising. All members are expected to attend the nine regular monthly meetings (September – June) and any special meetings each year.
